Description
Treat yourself or someone special to our vintage Beatrix Potter Binding Box! We have curated this box with beautiful things we would love for a quiet crafternoon.
These Finest Boxes contain:
Two beautiful vintage Beatrix Potter children’s books. The two different titles you will receive will be a suprise. They are in good condition but do show signs of age and wear commensurate with age and would be beautiful on display (in my opinion!). I have collected these books over the last year from second hand dealers and Op shops hoping to find enough for a round of these Binding Boxes. The books are gift wrapped in vintage sheet music and maps from an Atlas.
A Haigh’s chocolate Bilby made locally to us here in Adelaide.
A beautful 10g Tuft Woolens Lanolin Rich Hand Balm in either Plum and Amber or Lavender.
A wonderful bundle of micro skeins selected from the colour palettes inspired by Beatix Potter illustrations. Each bundle has a mix of neutrals, blues, violets, peach and pale pink to the total weight of approx 120-140g. Each bundle is unique and we have tried to not duplicate colours and each bundle contains 9 or 10 miniskeins.
Prices are GST exclusive. GST will be added at checkout to Australian customers.

I had to have one of these boxes. My very first book given to me in kindy was The Tale of Miss Tiggywinkle and I remeber it to this day. I love Beatrix Potter’s story telling and illustration but to get hard cover books and yarn as well? So good. It was like having an early birthday unwrapping this. Pretty yarns and treats with old books to pore over. What could be better? Now I just need a pattern befitting the contents!

Thanks so much Helen, we are so glad that you feel the same way we do! It’s just a ,ittle thing but a lovely reminder of times gone by! Best wishes with the knitting!

This was such a treat to receive. Everything wrapped like special gifts just for me. The yarn and colours soft and beautiful. But the special bit was unwrapping the books!

Thanks so much Glenys. I’m glad you “get” what we are trying to do! I loved wrapping them with paper upcyclded from an old outdated Atlas and a book of faded sheet music I found at Salvos!
