Our new Gathering Cashmere Sock yarn is a blend of 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon. We have never carried an “MCN” base before we found this 2 ply bouncy yarn with a good tight twist. This yarn would make the most brilliant luxurious socks or shawl which will last far longer than other cashmere blends that are too fragile. We love this new yarn and hope you do too. Cairns Birdwing of course is inspired by the largest of the native Australian butterflies.
