Description

We are thrilled to again work with Helen Stewart of Curious Handmade on her Shawl Society. Now in Season 6, Helen has used our non superwash Tatwij Organic DK for Shawl 4. The pattern goes live on July 22nd and is available via Ravelry and www.curioushandmade.com.

This listing is for 200g of Tatwij DK, two matching skeins of yarn. 200m or 218 yards per skein, 100% Extra fine Organic Merino.

The sample for the pattern is knit in Seacliff, the dusty blue tonal with very subtle hints of lily and magnolia, inspired by the suburban beach on which I live now here in Adelaide, South Australia. Helen and I have worked together for over 10 years and both of us have moved across countries and the globe in that time!

Alternate colours include:

Sturt’s Desert Pea, the bright unapologetic red tonal inspired by our South Australian State floral emblem

Melbourne Magnolia, a dusky rose inspired by Magnolia trees echoing one of my earlier collabs with Helen, her Melbourne Magnolia Socks

Martini, a fresh grassy green with a nice olive depth

Hey Sailor, a vibrant jazzy blue sure to stir you from any winter doldrums!

We hope you love these colours and enjoy knitting The Shawl Society patterns and wearing them for years to come! Obviously if you would like more of any of these colours you are more than welcome to order multiple lots of twos and we will do our best to match your quantity.
