Treat yourself or someone special to our Thrift Fabulous Finest Box! We have curated this box with beautiful things we would love for a quiet crafternoon. A PROPORTION OF SALES will be donated to the Australian Red Cross for Flood Relief.

These Finest Boxes contain:

A beautiful thrifted treasure; a vase, mug, jug, trinket dish, tea caddy or cup and saucer. Each item is unique, vintage, soaked and scrubbed by me to bring it back to its former glory and full of history. It is a lucky dip: you won’t know which item you will receive! Kind on the planet and celebrating times gone by, these items are perfect as stitch marker holders or notions vessels, for a small posy of flowers or in the case of the mugs and cups, perfect for a hot beverage while you knit. Some old brands you may recognise are Churchills of England, Royal Winton, Sandland Ware, Royal Stafford and Royal Doulton. Some pieces have Japanese markings and some have hand made potter signatures. Some are a complete mystery!

A Haigh’s milk chocolate heart and a Tea Tonic tea.

A brand new ChiaoGoo Nostepinne. This is a Scandinavian knitting tool which means “nest-stick” and is used to hand wind a centre pull yarn ball. A lovely meditative tradition and great for travelling when you leave your swift and ball winder at home!

A gorgeous Tuft Woolens Sock Soap bar of natural wool wash. We imported these especially for this box!  Fresh and clean delicious scent mixes of honey, lavender, herbs and fruit.

A hand dyed skein of Juhlia MCN Fingering yarn in the colour “A Quiet Cuppa”. Beautiful yarn full of nuanced violet tones, ochre, cream and mulberries.

Our new Juhlia MCN Fingering yarn is a blend of 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere and 10% Nylon. This yarn would make the most brilliant luxurious socks, hat or shawl. We love this new yarn and hope you do too.

437 yards/400 m per 100g skein
