The Orchid Set is light spearmint, tarragon, pale speckled with indigo pink, deep indigo teal, light tea stain, bright grevillia and pale speckled with indigo violet. Our Gala base is the beautiful Cloverleaf Corriedale 2ply worsted spun fingering weight yarn grown and spun in Victoria, Australia. A single source ethically grown yarn, at 395m / 432 yards per 100g, this yarn is next to skin soft and cloud like. It really does need to be handled and swatched to be believed; it is beautiful beautiful yarn. Not as prone to pilling Corriedale breed yarn is becoming more and more popular with hand dyers in Australia and throughout the world. We are very proud to carry this non superwash artisanal yarn in support of our local Australian wool industry and hope you enjoy the colours we have developed.
